Tawan is a hobby project by a lifelong League of Legends fan, made for everyone who loves Riftbound.
Why Tawan exists
Tawan started as a fun hobby project with one simple goal: to build a great community around Riftbound, with all the news and everything that’s going on in the game gathered in one place.
I’ve been a massive League of Legends fan for years, so when Riot announced a trading card game set in the same universe, Riftbound felt like a perfect match. Seeing champions I know so well turned into cards, with their personalities and stories still intact, is exactly the kind of thing I want to share with other players.
So that’s what Tawan is for: following the game closely, explaining new cards and mechanics clearly, and giving the community a place to keep up without having to dig through a dozen different sources. The name means “sun” in Thai, which is where the logo comes from.

How we work
Every article is based on official sources, mainly Riot Games’ own announcements and card gallery, with the sources listed at the bottom of each post. Tawan is completely non-commercial: no ads, no sponsors and no paywalls.
