Rengar has just won the final Regional Qualifier of 2026, and the list that did it is really worth a closer look, as most of it is cheap units. Below you’ll find the full decklist, how the cards fit together and how it did in Los Angeles, and Riot has the whole event on its official results page.

Rengar, Pridestalker
RQ Los Angeles winner · 14-0-2
The list DSG Prismaticism took to an undefeated 14-0-2 finish at the final Regional Qualifier of 2026: mostly low-cost units, Ambush plays, and a Legend that gives a unit +1 Might whenever you play one.

How the deck plays
This is my read of the card text and not a tested strategy guide, so treat it as a starting point (Riot Games, n.d.). The Legend, Rengar, Pridestalker, gives a unit +1 Might each time you play a unit, so chaining several units in one turn adds up really quickly, a bit like a fast break in basketball where one pass sets up the next.
Early game
Low-cost units chain into each other and into the Legend. Inferna, Irresistible Faefolk and Pit Rookie cost 2 Energy, Noxus Hopeful costs 2 less once you’ve played another card, Pit Rookie buffs another unit, and First Mate readies one.
Mid game
Ambush units like Inferna, Grim Apothecary and Nidalee can be played as Reactions to a battlefield where you have units, and Rengar can even be played to one where only the enemy does.
Late game
Punch First gives +5 Might, Thrill of the Hunt replays a banished friendly unit to any battlefield, and Kinkou Initiate and Kai’Sa keep cards flowing.
How it did at RQ Los Angeles
| Stat | Result |
|---|---|
| Finish | Winner of the event |
| Record | 14-0-2 |
| Final | Defeated Xeno and his Irelia deck, the most popular deck of the event |

| Ranking | Best Rengar result of 92, and first overall |
Deck-building notes
- The battlefield trio of Emperor’s Dais, Seat of Power and Star Spring also appeared in the Top 8 Master Yi list from SWAGALISK.
- Three copies of Kai’Sa, Survivor also featured in the Top 8 Akali list from HXN TEMPETE.
- 29 of the 39 main-deck cards are units, and 21 of those cost 3 Energy or less. The most expensive cards are Ferrous Forerunner (6) and Darius, Trifarian (5), one copy of each (Riot Games, n.d.).
Final thoughts
Rengar won the event without losing a match, going 14-0-2, and beat the event’s most popular deck in the final (Riot Games, 2026). Radiance releases on October 23, so the meta is about to move, and I’ll revisit this list once the first results with the new cards come in. Until then you can browse more decks on the Decks & meta page, and my Radiance reveal shows what’s coming.
It are what it are.
