Not every Legend is about attacking, as Ahri, Nine-Tailed Fox is about making your opponent regret attacking you.

What her Legend does
Ahri’s Legend is always on. Every time an enemy unit attacks a battlefield you control, it loses 1 Might for the turn, though never below 1 (Riot Games, n.d.-a). There’s nothing to pay and nothing to exhaust, so every single attack against you starts at a disadvantage.
Her champion cards
Ahri, Inquisitive shrinks enemies even further, as whenever she attacks or defends, an enemy unit at her battlefield gets -2 Might for the turn. Ahri, Alluring rewards you for holding your ground, as she scores you a point whenever she holds (Riot Games, n.d.-a).

Why it matters
Ahri builds a fortress. Her Legend weakens every attack and Inquisitive weakens it even more, while Alluring turns successfully holding a battlefield into extra points. It’s a bit like a goalkeeper who makes every shot slightly weaker before it reaches the net, and then gets points for the clean sheet.
My take is that this is a deck that dares your opponent to come at you and then punishes them for trying, which should suit patient players.
The Overnumbered version
The standard Legend is by Envar Studio, and the Overnumbered alternate art is by Airi Pan (Riot Games, n.d.-a).

In League of Legends
Ahri, the Nine-Tailed Fox
Mage / Assassin · Ionia
Innately connected to the magic of the spirit realm, Ahri is a fox-like vastaya who can manipulate her prey’s emotions and consume their essence, receiving flashes of their memories with every soul she takes. Once a powerful but wayward predator, she now travels the world searching for traces of her ancestors, while trying to replace her stolen memories with ones of her own (Riot Games, n.d.-b).
From the Rift to the table
In League, Ahri’s most famous ability is Charm, which makes an enemy walk helplessly towards her. Her Legend captures that same feeling, as enemies who come for her arrive weaker than they should be, and her champion card’s name, Alluring, is a clear nod to it too. Her full story is on her official League of Legends champion page.
If you like Legends that play the long game, our Kai’Sa Spotlight is another one worth reading, and every Spotlight so far is on the Cards page. Next up is Jarvan IV, who gives Deploy gear a bodyguard.
It are what it are.
