Rengar has won the final Regional Qualifier of 2026. In Los Angeles, DSG Prismaticism took down the event with Rengar, Pridestalker, beating Xeno and his Irelia deck in the final, and it’s his second RQ victory (Riot Games, 2026a).

The Top 8

Eight players reached the top cut, and they brought six different Legends between them, with two Irelia, two Azir and one each of Rengar, Master Yi, Akali and Ornn. The team MICE placed two players in the Top 8, with TheManLand on Ornn and Squirtle on Azir (Riot Games, 2026a).

What everyone played

Los Angeles was the first major Regional Qualifier since Riot’s September 18 ban-list update, which makes it the clearest look yet at how the late-Vendetta meta looks under the new restrictions (Rift Daily, 2026). Riot’s own numbers show Irelia moving into first place as the most played deck, ahead of Kennen, which had been the most played Legend in Singapore (Riot Games, 2026c).

Players per Legend on each day of the event, with share of the field (Riot Games, 2026a). Top ten by Day 1 attendance.

Three things to take from it

Irelia is the new deck to beat, as it had the largest Day 1 field, grew to nearly 13% of Day 2 and put two players into the Top 8, including the runner-up.

Kennen sent more players into Day 2 than any other Legend, 63 of them, yet none reached the Top 8. My guess is that players came prepared for it, but that’s just my read, and Best-Of Kennen went to DSG AwesumRosum (Riot Games, 2026a).

Azir punched well above its weight, as only 4% of the Day 1 field played it but two of the eight players in the top cut did.

The winning Rengar list

Here is the full list DSG Prismaticism played to the title, as published by Riot (Riot Games, 2026a). It’s built around Rengar, Trophy Hunter, with Body and Fury runes, and I also wrote a full deck guide for this list.

What comes next

This was the last Regional Qualifier of 2026, and Riot has already announced the first locations and dates for the 2027 Regionals and Continental events (Riot Games, 2026b). Before that the meta is about to change, as Radiance releases on October 23, and my Radiance reveal covers every new Legend. I’ll be back with the first results once the new set is in players’ hands, and until then you can read the Best-Of lists for every Legend on Riot’s official results page, and find more on the Decks & meta page.

It are what it are.
