Radiance is a set built around performance (Riot Games, 2026), so it makes sense that the star of the show, Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress, gets a Legend that rewards you for bringing friends along.

What her Legend does

When you cast a spell, Seraphine lets you exhaust her along with three of your units to make that spell two cheaper (Riot Games, n.d.-a). It’s a trade, as your units stop being available for that turn and in return your spells come down faster. She’s also the Legend of the Seraphine preconstructed deck in the Evelynn vs. Seraphine Showdown box (Riot Games, 2026), so a lot of new players will probably meet her first.

Her champion card

Seraphine, Not Alone creates a 1 Might Recruit token in your base when you play her and every time she becomes exhausted, and she gets +1 Might for each other exhausted unit you control (Riot Games, n.d.-a).

Why the pair matters

These two cards are made for each other. Her Legend wants you to exhaust three units, and Not Alone gives you Recruit tokens to exhaust, makes another one every time she exhausts herself and grows stronger for every exhausted unit around her. Exhausting units is normally a cost, and Seraphine quietly turns it into a reward.

The risk is obvious too, as an exhausted board is a vulnerable board, so timing those big spell turns will matter. It’s a bit like a band going all out for one song, where the encore is great but the next few minutes are exposed.

The Overnumbered version

The standard card is by Naifan Zhang, and the Overnumbered alternate art is by Anna Nikonova. Like all nine new Legends, it can also be found with an artist’s signature (Riot Games, 2026).

In League of Legends

Seraphine, the Starry-Eyed Songstress

Support / Mage · Piltover & Zaun

Born in Piltover to Zaunite parents, Seraphine can hear the souls of others: the world sings to her, and she sings back. These sounds overwhelmed her as a child, but she now turns them into music, performing for the sister cities to remind their people that they’re not alone and that they’re stronger together (Riot Games, n.d.-b).

From the Rift to the table

This is one of the cleanest translations in the whole set. Her League story is about reminding people they’re not alone and that they’re stronger together, her champion card is literally called Not Alone, and her Legend only works when she brings three friends along. Her full story is on her official League of Legends champion page.

What we don’t know yet

Riot will publish the full Showdown decklists on October 16 (Riot Games, 2026), which will show exactly what Seraphine’s official deck looks like. Until then, catch up on our K’Sante Spotlight and my Radiance reveal, and every Spotlight so far is on the Cards page. Next up is Ahri, who makes every attack against you a little bit weaker.

It are what it are.
