Some Legends win with one big threat, but Viktor, Herald of the Arcane wins with an army that never stops growing.

What his Legend does
It doesn’t get much simpler than this. For one Energy, Viktor’s Legend puts a 1 Might Recruit token onto the board (Riot Games, n.d.-a). One Recruit on its own won’t win a fight, but a fresh body every turn adds up quickly, especially in a game where holding battlefields is how you score.
His champion cards
Both of his champion cards make even more Recruits. Viktor, Leader replaces your losses, as whenever another non-Recruit unit you control dies, you get a Recruit in your base. Viktor, Innovator rewards you for acting on your opponent’s turn, as every time you play a card then, you get a Recruit (Riot Games, n.d.-a).

Why it matters
Viktor decks are all about going wide. The Legend gives you a steady stream of bodies and Leader makes trading units far less painful, while Innovator turns reactive plays into extra board presence. It’s hard to clear a board that keeps refilling itself, and that resilience is really what makes him dangerous in longer games.
It’s a bit like a zombie horde in a movie, where you can take down a lot of them and there are still more coming through the door.
The Overnumbered version
The standard Legend art is by Fortiche Production, the studio behind the Arcane series, and the Overnumbered alternate art is by Rudy Siswanto (Riot Games, n.d.-a).

In League of Legends
Viktor, the Herald of the Arcane
Mage · Zaun
The fully biomechanical evolution of his former self, Viktor has embraced his Glorious Evolution and become something of a messiah to his followers. To this master of the arcane, even violence is just one more variable in the ultimate equation (Riot Games, n.d.-b).
From the Rift to the table
This might be the neatest translation in Origins. In League, Viktor has become a messiah with a growing following, and in Riftbound every one of his cards creates more Recruits who fight in his name. Having the Arcane studio paint his Legend fits really well too. His full story is on his official League of Legends champion page.
If you prefer a Legend that rewards fast, aggressive turns instead, our Darius Spotlight is a good one to read, and every Spotlight so far is on the Cards page. Next up is Ekko, whose Legend lets you play a big unit early, for one turn only.
It are what it are.
